About Me

🌾 Welcome to My Low‑Carb Life As of January 2026, I’ve started a new chapter: I recently began the GLP‑1 Wegovy pill to help me get back on track with my weight‑loss goals. Life has thrown its share of challenges my way, and I’ve gained back some of the weight I once worked so hard to lose — so this is my reset moment. My journey began in 2008, when my doctor warned me about rising blood pressure and challenged me to lose ten pounds in three months. I ended up losing 26. By 2011, life had shifted again, and I recommitted to the low‑carb lifestyle that helped me feel strong and steady. And today, I’m still committed — just with new tools, new wisdom, and a whole lot more grace for myself. I live just outside New Orleans, deep in sweet Cajun Country, where we hunt, fish, “make groceries,” and enjoy the simple things. I exercise three times a week and practice relaxing on the off days. My immediate goal is to lose 15 pounds, and I’m focused on moving forward with intention and consistency. So pull up a chair and stay a spell — this blog follows my low‑carb journey, my Southern roots, and now, my Wegovy pill adventure.

Wegovy GLP1: Withdrawal, and Winning: Week One Down 2 Pounds

WEEK 1: The Great Caffeine Exodus

I appear to be in the throes of a full‑blown Coca‑Cola withdrawal meltdown. My energy levels resemble camel spit. My brain fog is thick enough to butter toast. But in the chaos, a new hero has emerged: Gold Peak Zero Sugar Tea. At this point, half my body runs on green tea, the other half on Liquid I.V. and pure stubborn determination.

This is the transition era.

This is the detox arc.

This is the part of the movie where the main character looks awful but is secretly leveling up.

And yes—the scale is shifting. Turns out when you stop drinking liquid candy, your body responds with, “Oh thank you, finally.”

It’s also been a week since I started the Wegovy GLP‑1 pill. What have I noticed? About a two‑pound drop. Is it because I quit Coco Cola? Maybe. Is it because I suddenly developed willpower? Absolutely not. Caffeine and sugar are the undercover drugs nobody warns you about.

I swear, nobody tells me anything.

One minute everything is steady, predictable, caffeinated. The next minute someone (me) quits Coke cold turkey and suddenly hydration is the new religion. Green tea strolls in all zen, Liquid I.V. throws electrolytes around like confetti, and I’m expected to “stay stable.”

===================================================

NOTHING STAYS STABLE.

WEGOVY GLP‑1 pill is everywhere right now—everyone’s talking about it, but who’s actually blogging the real, messy, unfiltered experience?

Me.

I’m putting it all out there so you can decide for yourself and maybe pick up a little insight along the way. Diet, exercise, lifestyle shifts, and the kind of change that drags you toward a healthier, better version of yourself.

Is it easy?

Absolutely not.

It’s like… why does nobody tell me anything?

But this is the journey.

This is the experiment.

This is the saga of my mind, body, and soul trying to get on the same page.

Stay tuned—because whatever happens next, it’s definitely not going to be boring
