Good morning, friends.
Day 2 is officially underway, and I’m happy to report that the excessive spit situation has calmed down. (If you know, you know. If you don’t… consider yourself blessed.)
Sleep, however?
Let’s just say my body is still negotiating its contract with this new medication. I expected this, so I’m rolling with it. LIFE carries on — slightly tired, but still fabulous.
Making Informed Decisions (aka: Becoming a Responsible Diet Citizen)
Starting a new medication isn’t something you do blindly. You read, you research, you scroll Reddit at 2 a.m., you find blogs like mine, and you gather every crumb of wisdom the internet is willing to offer.
Because the truth is simple:
Absorbing knowledge is the key.
The more we understand, the better we respond, adjust, and thrive.
My Morning Routine — The Ritual of Discipline
I start my day by taking my Wegovy pill on an empty stomach with a tiny sip of water.
This little pill needs time to absorb, so I give it a full hour before taking any other morning meds.
Around 10 a.m., I ease into my “brunch” — high protein, low carb, and always protein first.
I’m also keeping Liquid I.V. in the rotation because electrolytes are not optional right now; they’re essential.

My Diet Approach
High protein.
Low carb.
Protein first.
Repeat until it becomes a lifestyle.

Final Thought
I hope these little tips help someone out there.
We’re all students in this process, and the best thing we can do is school ourselves — learn from the best, learn from each other, and learn from our own bodies.
Have a wonderful day, and may your Day 2 (or Day 22, or Day 222) be filled with progress, patience, and a little laughter.
