After five days at home with a sick kid, today was the day to venture out. I exercised for two hours at the gym this morning, so you can imagine my appetite.
As shown in the picture above, are the ingredients. I don't usually picture ingredients, but I think you get a better idea if you see them.
Was not in the mood for lettuce and tomato, so I added a few peanuts on the side. Of course, the sandwich is made with the low carb bread from yesterday's baking experience !
On a good note, I lexercised for two hours at the gym todday AND I lost another pound. I now weigh in at 136, but this was 10+ days with out weighing in and five of the last days with No gym workout. Hey, at least it's something , right ?
Hope your day is a great one !

Hey bay--
A pound here, a pound there, sooner or later you're talking about some serious stones.
Just curious. Do you shoot for a max calorie goal per day?
See ya later
Hi there -- my crawdad bud ! Eating low carb is NOT about counting calories, or fat, its about counting CARBS !! I aim for about 40 - 60 carbs per day.
At about this time, my body seems to be 'maxing' out... evening out..
The weight loss is not like it was, but then neither is my recent physical activity (read previous days posts).
But to answer your question : That is why a low-carb diet is SUCH a great thang darlin ! You eat all the fat and meat, and cheese, etc... Hickory Farms sells some great stuff.. ever been to their website ? I got a LOT of stuff at 75% off after Christmas.
If you'd like more information.. (TMI ??) you can start where I did, by researching "Jimmy Moore".. my high blood pressure scare and his website experience on low carbing got me into this 'thang of mine".
Jimmy has a low-carb menu blog which you can subscribe to at :

AND a daily blog @ :

Oh yes, and dont forget about the EXERCISE :) I TRY to go to the gym 2-3 times per week.
Good job with the exercise, BayouBabe. Two hours is pretty impressive - especially after a long absence.
Congrats on the weight loss as well. Any amount of loss counts, in my book! :-)
Thanks, Harry !
Good Job!!!!
A pound is a pound, is a pound....add them all up and your getting there. WTG!!!!!!!
