Get Fit! Oprah’s Trainer Shows You How
GREETINGS FROM THE BIG EASY !
I have something to report... I've gained a few pounds ! Not like I'm actually TRYING... but our gym now offers water aerobics, so I thought I'd change the fitness routine round a bit. This type of exercising hits areas of my body I did not know existed. I believe its even a STRONGER workout than the usual weight/cardio machines !
I am not sure if it is because of the wonderful watermelon and cantelope we're enjoying ... or the fact that I'm working muscles I have never worked before.. what do yall think ?
Summer sure is flying by fast. School starts in less than a month out here. I'm head for Texas in a week or so for vacation.
I hope everyone enjoys the article below :) Have a Blessed wonderful day !

- 🌾 Welcome to My Low‑Carb Life As of January 2026, I’ve started a new chapter: I recently began the GLP‑1 Wegovy pill to help me get back on track with my weight‑loss goals. Life has thrown its share of challenges my way, and I’ve gained back some of the weight I once worked so hard to lose — so this is my reset moment. My journey began in 2008, when my doctor warned me about rising blood pressure and challenged me to lose ten pounds in three months. I ended up losing 26. By 2011, life had shifted again, and I recommitted to the low‑carb lifestyle that helped me feel strong and steady. And today, I’m still committed — just with new tools, new wisdom, and a whole lot more grace for myself. I live just outside New Orleans, deep in sweet Cajun Country, where we hunt, fish, “make groceries,” and enjoy the simple things. I exercise three times a week and practice relaxing on the off days. My immediate goal is to lose 15 pounds, and I’m focused on moving forward with intention and consistency. So pull up a chair and stay a spell — this blog follows my low‑carb journey, my Southern roots, and now, my Wegovy pill adventure.

That's a great article, thanks for sharing!!
It's the dead of winter here so it's nice to hear it's hot and summery somewhere in the world lol. Enjoy it while you can :)
I'm in two minds about water aerobics compared to other sorts of exercise, though I definitely think a swimmer's body looks a lot better than some stocky body builder's body can. Stronger though? I dunno. Wouldn't it be hard to increase the resistance as your fitness improves and your body adapts?
Thanks for the Oprah trainer link! I'll bet that working different muscle groups could be the cause of the small gain.
